Terms of Service

Welcome to CSECReady. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using CSECReady. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CSECReady in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or have parental consent if under 18) and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

CSECReady is an online learning platform designed to help students prepare for Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations. The platform includes:

  • Practice questions and study materials
  • Timed mock examinations
  • Progress tracking and performance analytics
  • AI Tutor chat (available on paid plans)
  • Achievement badges and streak tracking

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Do not share your account with others.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • One person may not maintain multiple accounts. If you need to manage multiple students, use the Parent Dashboard.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Trial

New accounts may receive a free trial period. At the end of the trial, continued access to premium features requires a paid subscription.

Paid Plans

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. CSECReady does not store your payment card details.
  • Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access until then.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@csecready.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute CSECReady content (questions, explanations, materials) without written permission.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content from the platform.
  • Attempt to circumvent security, access other users' accounts, or interfere with platform operations.
  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, or offensive.
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications on the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on CSECReady — including questions, explanations, graphics, and software — is owned by or licensed to CSECReady. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial study.

CSEC® is a registered trademark of the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC®). CSECReady is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CXC.

7. User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to CSECReady, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and incorporate that content into the platform. You retain ownership of anything you submit.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

CSECReady is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee specific exam results from using our platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSECReady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time through account settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use of CSECReady after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
